Our Mission
So who are we and what are we on about?
St Pete’s Youth Ministry exists to introduce people to Jesus and grow in relationship with Him!
Our overarching purpose is to be a community that is committed to loving God, loving each other & bringing Christ’s love to the world, giving glory to God!
To bring glory to God, Christians must have Jesus at the centre of all their lives!
But what does it mean to be a Christian? A Christian is simply a follower of Jesus Christ; one who professes belief in Jesus as the Christ and follows the teachings of the Bible.
As Jesus puts it, Christians live to glorify God by loving God “with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… and to love your neighbour as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39).

St Petes’ Youth is unashamedly Christian!
Our focus is on:
- Meeting together in fellowship under God’s Word, as we encourage each other in not being ashamed to live for Jesus!
- Learning to be disciples of Jesus because we love Him. Discipleship involves being a devoted follower of Jesus!
- Taking the love of Jesus to the world by the words we say and the lives we live!
